Baked Ziti Casserole Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

16 ounces ziti, uncooked
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced.
1 jar (26 ounce size) spaghetti sauce
1/2 cup dry red wine (optional)
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
Salt and ground black pepper to taste.
8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

DIRECTIONS:

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.

Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook meat, onion, and garlic until meat is thoroughly cooked; drain.

In large bowl, stir together meat mixture, pasta, spaghetti sauce, wine, and seasonings.

Pour into a 13×9 inch baking dish; sprinkle with cheese.

Bake 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
