Jo’s Baked Ziti

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb. ziti shaped pasta
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 lb. Ricotta cheese
3 eggs, beaten
2 jars prepared spaghetti sauce
Salt and pepper (to taste)

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Add ziti to boiling, salted water and cook for 10 minutes.

In a large mixing bowl mix Ricotta, eggs, salt and pepper together. Drain cooked ziti and add to Ricotta mixture. Blend well.

Spray a large casserole with Pam or non-stick spray. Spread a small amount of spaghetti sauce in bottom. Layer 1/2 of the ziti mixture on bottom, cover with half the sauce then layer with half the Mozzarella. Repeat layers again. Cover casserole with tin foil and bake for 45 minutes.
