INGREDIENTS:
1/2 lb. ziti shaped pasta
1 lb. Ricotta cheese
3 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
3 c. spaghetti sauce
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook ziti (or other shaped pasta) in boiling water until al dente (still a little firm); drain and place in large bowl. Mix together the Ricotta cheese and half the Mozzarella cheese with the ziti.
Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan. Cover bottom of pan with half of the spaghetti sauce. Spoon the ziti mixture into pan. Cover with the remaining spaghetti sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and remaining Mozzarella cheese. Bake for 20-30 minutes. Yield 8-10 servings. Great for Lent – no Meat!
