Baked Ziti Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

8 ounces ziti pasta
8 ounces ground turkey (white meat only)
3 cups fat free italian pasta sauce
16 ounces nonfat cottage cheese
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup egg substitute
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried parsley

DIRECTIONS:

Cook turkey meat in large nonstick skillet. Sautee until meat is cooked, stirring frequently. Drain meat and add pasta sauce.

Meanwhile, cook ziti according to directions. Drain, rinse, set aside.

Mix remaining ingredients together in a large bowl (cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, egg substitute, garlic powder and parsley) Add cooked ziti and mix well.

Lightly spray an 8 X 12 inch lasagna pan with nonstick spray. Spread 1 cup of pasta sauce mixture over the bottom of the pan. Spread the ziti and cheese mixture evenly over the bottom of the pan. Pour the remaining pasta sauce mixture over the ziti and cheese. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30-40 minutes at 350 degrees.
