Pork And Pasta Bake

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 (16 oz.) pkg. ziti macaroni
1/2 (16 9z.) pkg. pork sausage
1 c. Ricotta or cottage cheese
1/2 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. basil
1 (15 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
1/4 c. chopped parsley

DIRECTIONS:

Cook macaroni as directed and drain. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In saucepan cook pork sausage until browned; remove from heat and drain. Stir in Ricotta cheese, parsley, Parmesan and basil. Add 1/2 jar of sauce. Add ziti and mix well.
Spoon mixture into 8×8-inch dish. Pour on remaining sauce. Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese. Bake 30 minutes or until cheese is melted. Recipe can easily be doubled to feed a crowd or saved for a second meal.

Easy Baked Manicotti Pasta

INGREDIENTS:

1 (30 oz.) can spaghetti sauce
1 lb. ground beef, browned & drained
2 tbsp. instant minced onions
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. chopped parsley
1 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. marjoram
1 c. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
1/2 c. freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
12-16 manicotti shells

DIRECTIONS:

Into a greased 13″x9″ baking dish, spoon 1 cup of the spaghetti sauce. Mix the beef, onion, salt, parsley, herbs, Monterey Jack cheese and 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese together. Boil the manicotti shells in water until partially (or half) cooked; drain. Divide the meat mixture into 12 to 16 equal portions and stuff the shells with it. Place filled shells in baking dish and pour remaining spaghetti sauce over them. Sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese. Cover tightly with foil. (May be refrigerated if made ahead.) Bake at 350 degrees for about 60 minutes. Uncover and bake 5 minutes to brown lightly. INGREDIENTS:

8 oz. ziti macaroni
1/2 lb. pork sausage
1 c. ricotta cheese
1/4 c. chopped parsley
1 tbsp. Parmesan, grated
1/4 tsp. basil
1 (15 oz.) spaghetti sauce
4 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese

DIRECTIONS:

Cook ziti as directed, drain. Brown sausage, drain. Add ricotta plus next 3 ingredients and 1/2 of spaghetti sauce. Add ziti and toss to coat well. Put mixture in 8 x 8 inch baking dish, pour remaining sauce evenly and top with Mozzarella cheese.
