Grandma Boue’s Pasta Fasula

INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS:

1 c. tomato sauce
1 lb. Ditalini pasta
1 (4-6 oz.) can Great Northern beans (or fresh cooked white beans – approximately 1/2 lb.)

1. Bring pasta to boil until desired tenderness.

2. Drain (leaving just a little water).

3. Return pasta to stove.

4. Add tomato sauce.

5. Add beans.

6. Heat and serve.

TIP: Top each serving with grated Parmesan cheese and serve with bread and butter and Caesar salad. Great source of fiber and vitamins. Approximately 4 to 6 servings.
