Parmesan Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients

* 1 to 1 1/2 lb medium shrimp
* 1 lb spaghetti
* 1 medium Vidalia onion, chopped coarsely
* 1/2 cup olive oil
* 1 tablespoon butter
* 1-2 cups grape tomatoes, halved
* 1 clove garlic, crushed
* Italian grinder spice mix, 20 turns
* Course pepper to taste
* 2 tsp sea salt
* 1/2 cup white wine
* 4 cups water
* 1 fresh lemon
* 3/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

Method

In a large skillet add olive oil and butter. Saute onion until it starts to soften, then add garlic and saute 2 minutes. Add water, wine, sea salt and Italian grinder spice. Bring up to almost a boil, then add spaghetti, making sure it is not clumped together, stirring often until al dente. Add shrimp, stirring constantly until it starts to turn pink, then add tomatoes and pepper. When shrimp is done, remove from heat, and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
